WHO AM I?

I’m Jenna; an experienced PR and journalist. I’ve written for publications such as Grazia, Glamour, The Independent, The Telegraph, Metro, Happiful Magazine and Mother and Baby.

Will I actually get media coverage? Do you guarantee it?

Yes, you’ll get media coverage-or I’ll keep working you for free until you do! Due to the nature of the news cycle, it’s impossible to guarantee some elements of PR (e.g. a feature in a specific publication on a specific date) but I’m proud that every single client I’ve worked with has got press coverage in the first month in working together!

But I do know that making a PR investment (like any business investment!) can be scary, especially if you have never done so before. That’s why I offer a guarantee of at least 5 pieces of media coverage in the first 3 months of working together, or I’ll keep working with you for free until we get it. It’s a guarantee I’ve never had to enforce, since my clients usually get much more than this, but one that I’m happy to offer as reassurance.

How does it all work?

Once you’ve decided you’d like to work with me, we have a zoom to plan out your story ideas. In the first week or two, we’ll work on batch creating content for the media, so we have plenty of different stories ready to pitch to the press. You’ll have a shared drive where we keep all of your press info and I’ll ask you to give me access to any relevant images you have, such as headshots. You’ll also have a call with a journalist to map out your personal story and to build your confidence with talking to the press.

Throughout the week, I’ll be pitching you across the media and keep in touch with you regularly (most clients prefer this through whatsapp but it can also be done through email). Although I’m handling all of your PR, you will still be needed to chat to journalists, appear on podcasts or radio or share your wisdom with the press! I can do all of your PR, but we still need your voice!

Each Friday, I’ll send you an update of any new coverage as well as things were waiting on and any outstanding tasks.

What do I need in place before I start working with you?

Before we start working together, I recommend getting the following things in place:

Brand photography, such as headshots, product shots or other images (for service businesses, usually a few headshots are fine to begin with!)
A website that you’re happy to drive traffic to.
A plan of your avaliability-are there certain days you can record podcasts on? Will you share calendar access or just give me a list of your avaliable dates?
If you have a social media person working for you, connecting me with them so they can start promoting your new coverage! Let’s make sure we leverage it!

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! The 3 month plan can be paid in full, over 3 or over 6 installments. The 6 month plan can be paid in full, over 3, 6 or 12 installments. The 12 month plan can be paid in full, 3,6 or 12 installments. Please email me for more info (hello@jennafarmerpr.co.uk)

Do you offer other options if I can’t afford 121 right now?
